Stephen is a graduate of Stanford University with degrees in Economics. He pursued a career as an international investment banker living and working literally all over the world. He is fluent in two languages (Spanish and English) and speaks, reads or writes several others with varying degrees of fluency. His 30+ year banking career was focused on structured financing in the fields of real estate, hospitality, marine, forestry and aviation. He is known for his ability to synthesize complex problems and for his innovative and creative financing structures which give lenders the security they need and entrepreneurs the flexibility they require to create a product or develop a project. 

Stephen lived in Florida for seven years and it is there that he met and became a friend and a trusted advisor to Leo. He currently resides in Peru where he pursues other interests and is on call to consult or advise Rivas Gassan & Associates, Inc. on their business strategies or specific projects as required.
